Support
If something is not working, or you have a question, or you have an idea, here is how to reach us.
support@fieldcraftlabs.io
You get a real person, not a ticket robot, and we read every one.
This is not a full-time operation yet. If I am out on site I can be slow to reply, but I always do.
If you are reporting a bug, the things that help us fix it fast:
- What you were trying to do
- What happened instead
- Your device (iPhone 13 Pro, iPad mini, etc.) and iOS version
- A screenshot, if the bug is visible
We do not need your name, your company, or any account information. We do not have accounts.
Quick questions
Common answers.
My report is not exporting.
Make sure you have closed and reopened the app once since the last update. If the export dialog still does not appear, email us with the device and iOS version. There is a known case we are still chasing on older iPads.
I bought Pro and the unlock did not apply.
Open PikPix, go to Settings, tap Restore Purchases. If that does not work, email us; we can usually sort it out within a day.
Is my data backed up?
In v1.0, everything stays on your device: your photos, captions, snippet library, the GPS coordinates read from your photos, and the company and personal details you enter in Settings. None of it reaches Fieldcraft Labs. We run no servers that hold it and have no way to read it.
v1.1 will add optional iCloud sync (Apple CloudKit) between your own devices, through your own iCloud account. We still have no access, and nothing passes through our infrastructure. Until then, no sync happens, so your device's own backup is what protects your data if you lose it. More on how your data is handled.
Can I get a refund?
Refund requests for App Store purchases go through Apple directly, not through us. Apple's process is at support.apple.com/HT204084. We do not have access to the refund mechanism on our side; if there is something about the app that did not work for you, tell us anyway so we can fix it for the next person.
Can you build a feature I need?
Maybe. Tell us what you need on the roadmap page. If something keeps coming up, we build it.
My company wants to talk about deploying PikPix across a team.
We do not have a team plan yet but we have a list of people asking for it. Email us and we will keep you on the list and let you know the day it lands.
We are one person and a workshop, not a support call centre. We will answer you ourselves, and we will be straight about what we can and cannot do.
